Long after they achieved fame in Maggie Burnette Stogner’s Hawks in the City documentary, the hawks at the Franklin Institute continue to return to their windowsill nest in Philadelphia. And year after year they raise a new clutch of eggs. Tragically, in 2012, the male of the pair was hit by a truck and killed. But the female found a suitable new mate to help raise her chicks. And this year, they came back together to the Franklin Institute and laid 3 eggs. Last week, all three of the eyasses hatched!
